More Security Added to ePayroll Log-in Process
November 18, 2008 | 10:47 a.m. CST
Employees should be aware that additional security measures recently have been added to the ePayroll log-in process.
ePayroll is an electronic means of obtaining payroll information (gross pay, deductions, taxes, etc.). It is open to all UP employees who participate in Direct Deposit and offers 24/7 access to paystub, W-4 and Direct Deposit information.
The enhanced authentication process is being administered by TALX, the ePayroll provider and a subsidiary of Equifax, one of the nation's largest credit reporting agencies.
Employees must answer a few questions to gain access to their accounts and establish a new PIN/Password. As an Equifax subsidiary, TALX already has access to the information and is seeking only to verify employees' identities through these questions. It is not a phishing scam.
