More Security Added to ePayroll Log-in Process

Employees should be aware that additional security measures recently have been added to the ePayroll log-in process.  

ePayroll is an electronic means of obtaining payroll information (gross pay, deductions, taxes, etc.). It is open to all UP employees who participate in Direct Deposit and offers 24/7 access to paystub, W-4 and Direct Deposit information.

The enhanced authentication process is being administered by TALX, the ePayroll provider and a subsidiary of Equifax, one of the nation's largest credit reporting agencies.

Employees must answer a few questions to gain access to their accounts and establish a new PIN/Password. As an Equifax subsidiary, TALX already has access to the information and is seeking only to verify employees' identities through these questions. It is not a phishing scam. The information will remain confidential and is not shared with Union Pacific.

TALX apologizes for any inconvenience while adding this extra level of security.

To successfully use the Question and Answer Login, complete the following steps:

• Click "Forgot your PIN" or "Forgot Your Password"
• Click "Continue
• Enter your personal information
• Click "Continue"
• Answer the questions provided. (Remember, TALX is an Equifax subsidiary and already has access to this information; it is seeking only to verify employees' identities through these questions.)
• Click "Continue"
• Assign yourself a new PIN/Password
• Click "Continue"

After completing these steps, employees automatically will be directed to the main menu of their accounts.
