UP Board Declares Quarterly Dividend

Union Pacific's Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 27 cents per share on its common stock, payable Jan. 2, 2009, to stockholders of record Dec. 1, 2008. UP has paid dividends on its common stock for 109 consecutive years.
