Effective April 1, 2008, customers that bill pipe shipments through our Web site will be required to input which AAR Loading diagram was utilized. If the AAR Loading Rule Reference is unknown, you can leave the Section, Figure and Rev Date blank. This will not stop the billing process, but will ensure that our Damage Prevention group can follow-up with you and provide the appropriate loading information. If you have questions please contact Brent Lichty at (402) 544-6531.

Did you know that railroads are one of the most environmentally friendly modes of freight transportation? It's true. Freight trains are three times more fuel-efficient than over-the-road trucks and have less of an impact on air emissions than trucks.
At Union Pacific, we are committed to protecting the environment now and for future generations. Read more about UP's Green Efforts.
